Documentary Film: Ways of Experiencing Wood - Completed
Which forests
do our furniture, paper and other wood products that are so familiar
to us come from? Fairwood developed the documentary film "Ways of Experiencing Wood", the result of our field research and documentation of what is happening on the ground, following the trail of wood before it finally reaches end consumers.
The film contains the voices of various people in supply chains of timber - from Chinese wood dealers importing and processing Russian timber to the large Japanese housing manufacturer trying to source hardwood in Japan as well as other sustainable timber.
